The IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter of the University of Sheffield held its maiden Distinguished Lecturer Program (DLP) on November 30, 2021.
The DLP, entitled “Integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and Electric Transportation in Distribution Systems”, was delivered by Dr Julio Romero Aguero, Vice-President of Strategy & Business Innovation at Quanta Technology, who has over 25 years of experience in grid modernization and distribution systems planning.
The webinar, which spanned for over two hours, was followed by a Q & A session in which the speaker took questions from the audience, numbering about 58. The event host, Yinka Leo Ogundiran, Chair of IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sheffield, thanked the speaker and attendees and promised that similar DLPs of high technical quality would be organised by the Student Branch Chapter in the future.
