Section ExCom and Chapter Chairs’ Hybrid Meeting – October 2022
The autumn Section ExCom and Chapter Chairs’ Meeting was held in the magnificent surroundings of University College Dublin. To accommodate those that were unable to travel, the meeting was held in a hybrid form with access available via Zoom.
Both ExCOM and Chapter Chairs presented their activity during 2022 to the meeting as well as their plans for 2023. Due to the pandemic, face-to-face meetings had been replaced by many online events which had been recorded and are available to watch again on the website, providing more opportunity for member engagement.
Many chapters reported that they were planning to return to face to face conferences, whilst maintaining an online presence through webinars.

The keynote presentation was given by Professor Orla Feely, Vice President for Research, Innovation and Impact, entitled “Towards a positive culture in research and innovation”.
