Official Launch of the IEEE UK & Ireland Blockchain Group – London 2020

The IEEE UK & Ireland Blockchain Group will be officially launched in an event in London in February 2020.

The IEEE UK and Ireland Blockchain Group was formed in November 2018, the first in Region 8. Since then, the Group has rapidly grown in numbers, with currently over 120 members. The aim of the Group is to serve members in creating a forum for professional networking, learning & development, and to educate members in the rapidly emerging Blockchain field and to organise events covering the start-of-the-art in Blockchain technology and applications. With this vision, we have started a series of online monthly webinars on various aspects of Blockchain, starting on 14th June 2019.

We are soliciting for a venue to host the official launch of the Group, so any person, institution or industry that may be willing to host the official launch event of the Blockchain Group in any date in February 2020 should please contact me. We are hoping that the event will attract around 100 attendees, so the venue should be able to host up to 100 persons, and including spaces for stands / booth for 3-6 exhibitors.
