Information Theory Chapter Invites Applicants for Awards
The Information Theory Chapter of the UK and Ireland Section is offering three category student awards ranging from undergraduate to postgraduate. The awards are based upon the evaluation of a draft thesis in an an information theory or related discipline.
Best PhD Dissertation Award
The UK & Ireland chapter of the IT society announces an award for best PhD dissertation in the general field of information theory.
Applicants should provide the graduation date, which should be within one year of the submission deadline, and a draft of the thesis for evaluation. The winner will receive a £200 award and a certificate.

Best Master’s Thesis Award
The UK & Ireland chapter of the IT society announces an award for best Master’s thesis in the general field of information theory.
Applicants should provide the graduation date, which should be within one year of the submission deadline, and a draft of the thesis for evaluation. The winner will receive a £150 award and a certificate.

Best Undergraduate Project Award
