IEEE Appoints Dr Mona Ghassemian as Member of the 2022 MGA Nominations and Appointments Committee
UK and Ireland Section Chair, Dr Mona Ghassemian has been appointed to serve as a member of the 2022 MGA Nominations and Appointments Committee.
Commenting on the appointment, Dr Ghassemian said
The IEEE Nominations and Appointments (N&A) Committee has an important role in making recommendations of the most qualified individuals, willing to serve, for various positions on the IEEE Board of Directors and its Committees.
I am delighted to contribute to the selection of future IEEE leaders.
The N&A Committee also provides the IEEE Board of Directors a recommended slate of candidates for IEEE President-Elect.
