As use of telepsychiatry in mental health via video/phone visits soars, it is important to consider also how asynchronous telepsychiatry tools like smartphone apps can also advance care. This talk will describe the evolving field of smartphone digital phenotyping, the potential for real time data capture via smartphones, methods to analyse apps for mental health, and practical clinical applications of these tools.
Data communications between Earth and spacecrafts, such as satellites, have traditionally been carried out through dedicated links. Shared links using Internet Protocol-based communication offers a number of advantages over dedicated links, however, the movement of spacecrafts gives rise to mobility management issues. This talk will discuss various mobility management solutions for extending the Internet connection to spacecrafts.
Dr Andrea Simonetto from IBM Research Ireland will give a talk on online optimization for cyber-physical and social systems.
This Lecture shares thoughts and ethical insights about the social trajectory of technologies that track and interact with human emotion and affective states.
