Webinar | Improving Academic Writing Skills for IEEE Transactions by Prof Wen Cao
This webinar is targeted junior and early-career researchers who are new to the IEEE Transaction publications. It will deal with the publication process for the IEEE Transactions with a focus on the field of electrical power engineering.
The speaker will share his experience of academic writing as an author, reviewer and editor, as well as his personal views on how to prepare for good quality research and innovations, and then high-quality manuscripts for IEEE Transactions. It will be followed by a Q&A session.
Attendees are free to bring your papers and discuss anything specific with the publications in IEEE Transactions.
This event is co-organised by IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES).
About the speaker:
Wen Cao (FIET, SMIEEE) received the B.Eng. in electrical engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China, in 1991, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical machines and drives from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, in 2004.
