Webinar | COVID19 Privacy Deep Dive by Collin Kurre, BT
The use of location data and contact tracing apps in response to COVID19 has raised questions around societal values and trade-offs. This presentation will consider how the pandemic is impacting human rights, with a focus on the rights to privacy and data protection. We’ll consider some examples of how technology is being used and the international response from human rights and civil liberties groups, then open the floor for discussion.
