Welcome to the IEEE UK and Ireland Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control Chapter.
The Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society (UFFC-S) is dedicated to advancing the theory, technology, materials, and applications related to the generation, transmission, and detection of ultrasonic waves and related phenomena. This includes medical ultrasound and associated technologies, as well as ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and piezomagnetic materials, and the generation, control, timing, and distribution of frequencies.
IEEE UFFC-S unites academics, industry professionals, researchers, and others involved in Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control from around the world. The society offers access to cutting-edge research, technical expertise, networking opportunities, career development tools, and numerous other benefits.
The newly established UK and Ireland UFFC Chapter aims to enhance the society’s activities by providing a local platform to increase the visibility of UFFC developments in the UK and Ireland. We will organise local networking events and a series of technical webinars to bring together academics, industrialists, researchers, and students from across the region.
