Signal Processing Chapter
Signal processing is the enabling technology for the generation, transformation, extraction, and interpretation of information. It comprises the theory, algorithms with associated architectures and implementations, and applications related to processing information contained in many different formats broadly designated as signals.
The Signal Processing Chapter’s purpose is to advance and disseminate state-of-the-art scientific information and resources, educate the signal processing community and provide a venue for people to interact and exchange ideas.
The Chapter has over 640 members including Fellows, Senior members and graduate students and provides opportunities to network at a local level, enabling personal and professional growth It organises seminars, invites speakers such as IEEE Distinguished Lecturers and provides technical co-sponsorship to conferences. In recognition of its vitality, the Chapter was certified in 2013.
