UK and Ireland Section Scoops 2019 IEEE Region 8 Women in Engineering Section Affinity Group of the Year Award

The UK and Ireland Section Women In Engineering group are delighted to be named ‘2019 IEEE Region 8 Women in Engineering Section Affinity Group of the Year’.

Annabel Latham comments, “As Chair, I am personally so proud of this achievement, and hope that it encourages more people to join WIE and get involved in enacting this change as we move towards a more diverse image of engineering.

We are an active and diverse group of professional innovators who are passionate about our engineering careers, and we strive to change the face of engineering.

This award recognises our voluntary work to share this passion with people of all ages and to advance women in technology at all points in their life and career”.
